Güneş Onar has been appointed as the new Turkish Cypriot Special Representative.
Making a statement to Haber Kıbrıs, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, said that Güneş Onar is a well-educated bureaucrat who knows the Cyprus problem.
Onar served as the Coordinator of Confidence Building Measures and Bilateral Technical Committees.
