Conscientious Objection Initiative calls for activists to join solidarity strike tomorrow


 

The Conscientious Objection Initiative called on all anti-militarists and peace activists to join the solidarity strike that will be taking place at the Büyük Han (Great Inn) tomorrow, at 12 p.m. due to the judicial process of Mustafa Hürben.

The statement by the Conscientious Objection Initiative said:

“It was stated that despite, explicit recognition of the right to conscientious objection in the decisions of the Constitutional Court and the Military Court of Appeals in North Cyprus and calls from various segments for the recognition of the right to conscientious objection, the trial of the activists of the Conscientious Objection Initiative is continuing.”
