Heavy snowfall and strong winds are causing traffic disruption in some areas of central and southern Sweden.
The national weather centre, SMHI, has issued some weather warnings, including one for heavy snow and strong winds on Gotland.
Ferry departures to and from the Baltic island to the mainland have been cancelled for the rest of the day.
Meanwhile the snowy weather caused serious problems in Göteborgsbacken , Jönköping.
The heating loops that are supposed to facilitate heavy traffic did not work and the Swedish Transport Administration does not know why.
According to the police, this morning’s queue chaos on national highway 40 consisted of around 50 trucks.
