Moving car catches fire!


 

A vehicle heading towards Girne (Kyrenia) on the Girne (Kyrenia) – Lefkoşa (Nicosia) main road caught fire today, it has been reported.

A police statement said that Chara Lambidou (F-58) driver of MTA 079 registered vehicle was heading towards Girne (Kyrenia) and was in the Ciklos area when the vehicle caught fire at around noon possibly due to a fault in the car wiring harness.

The engine compartment, the bonnet, the front fenders, the dashboard and car seats were damaged due to the fire that was put out by the firefighters.

An investigation is underway.
