Two foreign nationals driving under the influence of alcohol cause two separate accidents


 

Two foreign nationals who were under the influence of alcohol caused accidents in two different areas.

One accident took place yesterday morning on the İsmet İnönü Boulevard in Gazimağusa (Famagusta).
Alıakbar SAREMI (27), who was under the influence of 184 milligrams of alcohol, lost control and crossed into the right lane causing him to crash into the right rear of the vehicle driven by Hasan OY (56), who was coming from the opposite direction.
He then hit the left side of another car parked on the right side of the road, and then the right side of another vehicle driven by İbocan ERCAN (24) who was coming from the opposite direction. No injuries were reported following the accident.
Alıakbar SAREMI has been arrested, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.

Meanwhile, another accident took place in front of the İskele (Trikomo) Royal Sun Supermarket at around 10 p.m. Luubov ZHUKOVA (46) who was under the influence of 143 milligrams of alcohol, was heading south when she decided to park the car and crashed through the market glass window after losing control. No injuries were reported and driver Luubov ZHUKOVA has been arrested. An investigation is underway.
