Contracts made for North Cyprus property sales to foreigners via lawyers will need to be registered at the land registry department within three months of the transaction.
According to the Diyalog newspaper, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı stated that a legal study has been carried out that will both control the sale of property to foreigners and make the country attractive for investors.
Referring to the matter of debate lately on the number of property sales to foreigners, Arıklı said that figures are not as exaggerated.
