Speeding ranks 1st place in NC traffic crimes!


 

Legal action was filed against 427 of two thousand 245 drivers stopped in traffic inspections on Friday.

Police report that while one driver was arrested 55 other drivers were banned from driving.

According to the Press Release from the Police, 213 drivers were reported for driving over the legal speed limit, 13 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 32 for using a mobile phone while driving, 13 for driving without wearing a seat belt, 12 for driving without a Road Tax, 4 for driving without insurance, 2 for disobeying traffic light rules and 137 drivers were reported for other traffic offences.
