Casino scam by staff!


 

Casino employees have been detected for forging 228 invoices over the past 2 years at a casino, they were working at, in Girne (Kyrenia), between July 2022 and March 2024.

B.Ü. (46) and H.A. (36) forged a total of 228 invoices belonging to the casino by overstating various products, from an advertising company, purchased for the casino, a police report said.
101,089 US dollars worth of invoices were faked and submitted to the casino accounts department.
It was determined that they fraudulently obtained and stole cash from the casino, police say.
One more person, believed to be connected to the incident N.C. (39), has also been taken into police custody. An investigation is ongoing.
