KTÖS calls for death of teacher Alya to be investigated!


 

The Cyprus Turkish Teachers’ Union (KTÖS) called on the Turkish Cypriot Medical Association and the Universal Patient Rights Association to investigate the suspicious death of teacher Ayla Dalgalan, who died after an incorrect blood transfusion.

KTÖS’s statement:

“Our member Ayla Dalgalan past away in the hospital where she was being treated for sickle anemia, mitral valve insufficiency, and an incorrect blood transfusion.
The recipients body being transfused with the wrong blood type should be investigated, as she was a regular patient with the same treatment for her health condition.”
