Drunk driver crashes after losing control!


 

A drunk driver crashed into curb stones and a traffic sign on the Ağıllar roundabout after losing steering control in Lefkoşa (Nicosia).

Driver of SR 440 registered vehicle Chijoke IZUCHUKWU (M-26), who was under the influence of 182 milligrams of alcohol, was heading West on the Lefkoşa Kuzey beltway in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) at around 6.30 a.m. today, when he lost steering control causing him to crash into curb stones and a traffic sign on the Ağıllar roundabout.

IZUCHUKWU was only able to stop when he slammed into a concrete wall on the roadside after spinning uncontrollably.

No injuries were reported following the accident.

Driver IZUCHUKWU has been arrested and an investigation is underway.
