A man arrested for possession of stolen car


 

A 28-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with a theft and car theft investigation.

The police discovered the car on a street in Limassol around 5 p.m., that had been reported stolen. The 28-year-old man found in the driver’s seat was arrested for the self-inflicted crime of receiving stolen property and taken into custody to assist with the investigation.

A 41-year-old man had reported the theft of the vehicle last Thursday. According to the complainant, the car was stolen around 4:30 p.m. that day while parked outside his house in Limassol.

The case is being investigated by the Limassol CID.
