€5 million in fines executed across Cyprus


 

Since the start of the year, over 29,000 fine orders have been executed across Cyprus.

During a campaign conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, by the Warrant Execution Squad of the Nicosia Police Department, 173 fine warrants were executed, resulting in the collection of over €109,300.

From the beginning of the year until today, the Police have executed 29,025 fine warrants nationwide, collecting a total of €5,070,900.

In the same period last year, 31,272 fine warrants were executed, and €4,908,276 was collected.

The executed warrants cover various types of debts, including traffic and criminal offenses, social security and municipal debts, as well as alimony and private criminal cases.
