The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced that water is now being supplied to the regions from the Geçitköy pumping station as of last night.
In a statement by the Ministry at midnight, it was noted that the work to eliminate the technical malfunction at the water supply station of the Geçitköy pumping station, which provides water from the Geçitköy Dam to the Çamlıbel Treatment Facility, has been completed.
The pumps at the Geçitköy station were turned on and water started to be pumped as a trial. The empty pipeline is being filled, and if all goes well, efforts to return the entire system to normal will continue throughout the night and water will be delivered to the drinking water tanks, it has been reported.
