Turkish Cypriots vote in special polling stations without problems


 

Voting for the European elections in the special polling stations where the Turkish Cypriot voters, who are registered in the special electoral lists, exercise their right, was carried out without any problems until the break at 12.00 noon (local time).

ELECTIONS TURNOUT AT 25.4% BY NOON

One in four voters cast their ballots by Sunday noon when polls closed for a one-hour break, according to data announced by Chief Returning Officer Elikkos Elias. Specifically, the turnout at 12pm was 25.4%.

POLLS REOPEN AFTER BREAK

After the one-hour break, voting for the election of members of the European Parliament and local authorities resumed normally at exactly 1pm (local time) in Cyprus.
