52nd Iskele ( Trikomo) Festival starts on Friday

The 52nd Iskele ( Trikomo)Festival starts on June 28th.
Mayor of Iskele Municipality Hasan Sadıkoğlu held a press conference and gave information about the program of the festival to be held after a 5-year break.

He stated that after a 5-year break, the Iskele Festival, one of the oldest festivals of the country, will be organized for the 52nd time.

Stating that every day of the 10-day festival will be full of fun and activities, Sadıkoğlu said that popular musician Edip Akbayram will give a concert after the opening ceremony, and that Mert Demir, Simge Sağın and Selçuk Balcı will also take to the stage at the festival.

After Mayor Sadıkoğlu completed his speech, the press conference continued with the screening of the festival’s promotional movie.

The 10-day festival will include various cultural, artistic and sports activities as well as the Black Sea People’s Night, International Folk Dances Festival, Cyprus Night, Larnaca Night, Iskele Rally, Tennis and Basketball Festival and Cyprus Cuisine Flavours Competition.

All events at the festival will be free of charge.
