The Met Office announced that temperatures will continue to remain high for another week.
Temperatures are expected to be around 42-45 degrees inland and 37-40 degrees on the coast.
According to the Meteorology Department, under the influence of a low-pressure system, skies are expected to be clear. Winds are expected to be southerly and westerly moderate.
