Moving car goes up in flames!


 

A car caught fire yesterday evening.

According to the police, driver of EP 864 registered vehicle, Jan MARIAR MERGITS was heading to Lefkoşa (Nicosia) on the Gazimağusa (Famagusta) – Lefkoşa (Nicosia) main road at around 8.50 p.m., after his car caught fire in front of Cesur Home, probably due to a gas leak.

The car engine bay, bonnet, front bumper, headlights, and side fenders were completely damaged the dashboard was partially destroyed and the windshield had exploded due to the fire.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters; an investigation has been launched.
