(Kamalı News) Two people were arrested and taken to court for the possession of drugs at 5 pm yesterday in Girne (Kyrenia) and Boğazköy following a raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling Team.
According to a police statement, approximately 705 grams of a substance believed to be cannabis type drugs were seized in ready-to-sell packages during the search carried out by Officer Adnan Kardeşler, on Chadikaobi Hycent Onoyo, 26, and at his residence in Girne (Kyrenia).
Stating that suspect N.K. was also detained within the scope of the operation, the police said that the seized substance will be sent for analysis, and are looking for two suspects who have connections with the incident.
The police requested Chadikaobi Hycent Onoyo and N.K to be detained for 3 days.
Judge Murat Soytaç, who evaluated the testimony, ordered the suspects to be detained for one day.
