The Highways Department has announced that the road between Metehan roundabout (Agios Dometios) and Ortaköy (Ortakioi) will be closed until July 25, due to road works.
According to a statement by the department, the road heading to Ortakioi between Metehan roundabout (Agios Dometios) and Ortaköy (Ortakioi), (Civil Defence building) will be closed.
The road is closed for the infrastructure development work at the Presidential and Parliament building.
The road from the Kemal Şemiler Avenue (Kalın Yol) to Ortaköy (Ortakioi) from Metehan (Agios Dometios) Border road will be closed to traffic until July 25.
The department advised those heading towards Ortaköy to follow guides for alternative routes via Kemal Şemiler Avenue.
Drivers are urged to follow all road signs and follow traffic diversion directions that will be given.
