Journalist and writer Süleyman Ergüçlü has died…


 

Journalist and writer Süleyman Ergüçlü passed away this morning at his home, it has been reported. His wife Neşe Ergüçlü shared the news of his death on social media, “My husband Süleyman Ergüçlü passed away this morning at our home. My pain, our pain is endless. Details about the funeral will be shared. I wish condolences to us all.”
Ergüçlü, one of the names that left his mark on Turkish Cypriot journalism, left behind many news, interviews, columns, articles and books.
Ergüçlü, who died at the age of 69, was a well-known journalist and writer. He was also known for his passion for Lefkoşa (Nicosia), where he was born and raised.
Süleyman Ergüçlü expressed himself as being a Cyprus lover… and could never live without the aroma of Lefkoşa, Cyprus.
With the news of the death of journalist and writer Süleyman Ergüçlü, Lefkoşa has lost one more of its symbolic figures.
