Head of the Lefke Environment Association Tamer Dayıoğlu said that the fire at the Karadağ waste facility is a threat to human health.
Dayıoğlu warned that they will take action if reformative measures are not taken immediately.
Speaking to Gıynık news, Dayıoğlu stated that the fire which started at the Karadağ waste facility last night increased towards the morning and spread to the entire region. The cause of the fire is unknown Dayıoğlu said adding that fires break out at the facility once every 3-4 months.
