Green Line trade is growing!


 

Within the scope of the Green Line Regulation, there has been a 12.9% increase in sales of goods from North to South Cyprus compared to last year.
The total cost of sales from North to South Cyprus reached 7.6 million Euros, in the first 6 months of 2023. This figure was 6.8 million in the same period in 2022.
The boom in “prefabricated container” sales from the South to North attracted attention. Prefabricated containers, with a cost of 1.9 million Euros marked the highest sales with a 26 percent share.
Prefabricated containers were followed by construction materials with 1.76 million Euros, wooden furniture with 1.4 million Euros, plastic products with 1 million Euros, and fresh fish with 374 thousand Euros.
