Regulations are being enforced against heavy vehicles using Semih Sancar Street in Girne as of today.
According to the new regulation, the east-west direction lane will be closed to heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, biscuit machines, etc.), between the hours of 4.30- 7 pm.
The Girne (Kyrenia) Municipality announced that as of December 4, heavy vehicle drivers will be banned from using the east-west direction of Semih Sancar Street during the hours given above.
Drivers who do not comply with the law will be fined 18 thousand 103 Turkish Liras and 15 penalty points.
