Cypriot theater players celebrate World Theater Day by singing

Cypriot theater players İzel Seylani and Andrea Margarita Mavrou celebrated World Theater Day by singing the Zülfü Livaneli song, Kardeşin Duymaz (Σαν το μετανάστη) in Turkish and Greek.

Making a statement on her social media account Izel Seylani said “We, Cypriot actors, dedicate World Theater Day to the brotherhood, peace and the fight against fascism. We are not the first, we will not be the last… We also know that we are not alone… As our fight continues, our hope will grow, theater art in these lands will continue to express people’s common pain, hopes, feelings and desires, and will continue to be the light against darkness.”
