Drugs detected in Güzelyurt, three arrested!


Two people aged 24 and 34 were arrested for the possession of drugs in Güzelyurt yesterday at around 4 pm following a police raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to a police report, a total of 6 grams of cannabis, 8 tablets, that require a medical prescription, cash of 21,000 Turkish Lira and 100 Dollars believed to have been obtained from the sales of drugs were detected in the 24-year-old drivers vehicle and taken as evidence. It was reported that the 34-year-old who was in the car as a passenger during the raid has also been arrested.
A 23-year-old believed to have connections in the incident has also been arrested it has been reported.
An investigation continues.
