The quake hit around 2:29 a .m. and was centered about 61 kilometres away from the Lefke (Lefka) Earthquake Station. The earthquake that struck today was recorded to be at 34.53 North and 32.90 East coordinates, at a depth of 26 kilometres. The earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale, was recorded as ‘very mild’.
