Pupils stranded due to landslide in Switzerland, back in Milan to return home


 

The English School pupils and their teachers who were stranded in Switzerland due to a landslide, are now in Milan to begin their return journey to Cyprus.

Theodoros Gotsis, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed to CNA that the road network was cleared late yesterday.
According to the Spokesperson, the group now have a safe passage by bus to Milan, the destination they initially landed in. They will gradually return to Cyprus via commercial flights.
