Red alert issued against soaring temperatures!


 

The head of the Forestry Department Salih Güneş has issued a red alert weather warning until Friday, July 28th.
Following a statement by the Meteorology Department, that temperatures are expected to remain at around 45 degrees; Salih Güneş said that a red alert has been issued against fire hazards until Friday, July 28th.
The Meteorology Department said that the country will be under the influence of a hot air mass and that temperatures will reach 45 degrees and that the humidity will fall below 20 percent, it has been reported.
Noting that a series of precautions have been taken, Güneş announced that entry into picnic and forest areas has been prohibited until Friday, July 28th. Citizens are kindly requested to show the necessary sensitivity.
