It has been reported that sewage water is pouring into the Laguna fishing port in Gazimağusa (Famagusta).
Chairman of the Fisherman’s Union Kemal Atakan, said that the fishing port is in good condition due to the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), but also added that contaminated water is pouring into the port.
Atakan stated that the smell in the area is unbearable, and called for a solution to the problem as soon as possible.
