The 2nd minimum wage of the year determined at net 15,750 TL!


 

The new minimum wage, set a second time this year, has been determined at 15,750 TL net 18,103 TL gross following an agreement reached by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission yesterday.
The Minimum Wage Determination Commission which was chaired by the Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy lasted approximately three and a half hours.
Members representing the state, employees, and employers presented their opinions on the determination of the minimum wage.
The monthly minimum wage was agreed at 15 thousand 750 TL net following a majority of votes.
The employee representative voted against the proposal.
The new minimum wage will be effective as of July 1st.
