Traffic accident on Girne-Tatlısu main road!


Five people were injured in an accident that took place on the Girne-Tatlısu main road at around 5 am this morning.
According to a police report, a 33-year-old driver of a ZUR 839 registered vehicle who was heading towards Tatlısu, lost control of the vehicle he was driving at a bend between 2 to 3 kilometers into the Tatlısu road and crashed into Lu CHAO, driver of the ZNY 352 registered vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
A fire that broke out affecting both vehicles following the crash was extinguished by the Fire Brigade. Both vehicles were completely damaged it has been reported.

Driver Timur İLMAZ (M-33) and Dilfuza MARDONOVA (F-32) who was a passenger in the ZUR 839 registered vehicle, and driver and passengers of ZNY 352 Lu CHAO, Zhi QU(M-48), and Junwen YE(M-36), were injured following the accident and taken to Lefkoşa Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident continues.
