Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said that the absence of a permanent solution in Cyprus is always a cause of tension.
Çavuşoğlu, who spoke to Turkish reporters at Türkevi Centre in New York, attended the Special Session of the 30th of March International Day of Zero Waste at the United Nations (UN) and referred to the latest developments on foreign policy.
Touching upon the problem of the fair sharing of hydrocarbon wealth around the island within the scope of the Cyprus issue, Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu said that the lack of a permanent solution in Cyprus is always a reason for tension.
