Two people have been arrested in connection with disconnecting the electrical supply at 7 transformer rooms belonging to the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek), a police statement said.
It has been reported that seven different transformer rooms belonging to Kıb-Tek were tampered with, electric switches were turned off, and the electricity supply was cut off on Monday, April 10, at around 9.30 pm by two unauthorized individuals aged 50 and 40.
The suspects were arrested by police and an investigation is being launched.
