In connection with a case involving charges of firearm possession, transportation, and carrying a weapon with intent to incite terror, the police conducted an arrest yesterday, pursuant to a court-issued warrant.
The individual apprehended is a 23-year-old male, presented before the Famagusta District Court on the day of arrest, where a seven-day detention order was granted.
Similarly, on 13/5/2024, another individual (a minor) was taken into custody for the same case and promptly brought before the Famagusta District Court, which sanctioned an eight-day detention order.
