Votes cast in North Cyprus sent to Türkiye


 

The votes cast in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for the 28th Term Parliamentary Election to be held this Sunday in Türkiye were sent to Türkiye this morning. The sacks containing the ballot papers will be delivered to the Overseas Election Board.
It has been reported that 82 thousand 587 people have voted this year with a turnout rate of 58.9 percent. There has been a significant increase in voting compared to the last elections. North Cyprus has been the country with the highest increase in votes according to its population.
