According to the Meteorology Department, temperatures which were around 5 to 8 degrees above seasonal norm last week, will be 2-3 degrees above seasonal norms this week it has been reported. Fog is forecast in the morning hours from tomorrow to Tuesday.
According to the report, under the influence of a low-pressure system, it is expected to be hot from July 29 – August 4. Temperatures will be around 37/40 ºC inland and 33/36 ºC on the coast. Skies are expected to be clear with fog in the morning hours. Winds are expected to be southerly and westerly moderate.
