13 roots of cannabis detected in Yeşilırmak!


A 31 and 24 year old were arrested following a police raid, “Kök Sökme Operation” conducted by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Team in Gönyeli at around 7pm on Thursday.
According to a police report, a substance believed to be a cannabis type drug weighing approximately 6 grams was detected in their possession. 13 root cannabis plants, weighing approximately 4.5 kilograms, grown in pots in a specially built greenhouse were found and taken as an evidence, following a search in and around the area of the residence of the 24-year-old in Yeşilırmak. The individuals were arrested and taken in for questioning and an investigation has been launched.
