52-year-old man critically injured in road collision


A 52-year-old man was seriously injured in a road collision yesterday afternoon in Paralimni.
According to a police statement, while the 52-year-old was driving his car on Vrysoudion Street, in Paralimni around 5 pm yesterday he lost control of the vehicle and he hit a tree and stop.
The 52-year-old was taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital, where it was found that he suffered a skull fracture and injuries to various parts of his body.
After being intubated, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital.
His health condition is his condition now considered extremely critical by the doctors.
The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
