According to the Meteorology Department, today’s weather will be under the influence of a very cold and humid air mass with a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. Temperatures are expected to be around 2-3 degrees below seasonal norms and winds will be northerly and easterly moderate becoming stronger at times.
Today the weather will be partly cloudy, with occasional showers, and sleet fall is also expected in the mountainous areas.
Temperatures will generally be around 8-14 ºC inland and on the coast.
