Heart-breaking real-life drama in Yenierenköy!

The tragic death of the Yıldızçoban brothers who were Yenierenköy (Gialousa) residents was heart-breaking.

THEY LIVED IN A CONTAINER WITH NO ELECTRICITY FOR 5 YEARS

According to Halkın Sesi, 47-year-old Halil Yıldızçoban and his brother, 49-year-old Kemal Yıldızçoban, who had been living in a container for five years without electricity, were discovered dead due to carbon monoxide poisoning from exhaust fumes coming from the generator.

THEY WERE NEGLECTED BY THE GOVERNMENT

It has been determined that governmental institutions had neglected the mentally ill brothers who earned their living by working as shepherds.
Speaking to Halkın Sesi, the family relatives of the two brothers stated that no one took care of the Yıldızçoban brothers.

BORAK “SHAME ON YOU…”

The Head of Dipkarpaz Environmental Protection and Activity Association Fırat Borak, expressed his concerns by saying “These two poor brothers have passed away. Why do the state, institutions, and organizations exist? They died due to carbon monoxide poisoning from the generator because they had no electricity. We are all responsible. Especially those ruling the country. Shame on you.”
