A song was composed for “Champion Angels”

A group of singers composed a song titled “Şampiyon Meleklere Ağıt” meaning “Requiem for Champion Angels”.
The song was composed on the first anniversary of the disaster for the Gazimağusa Turk Maarif College team Champion Angels, who lost their lives in the Isias Hotel in Adıyaman, where they went to participate in the volleyball championship but died in the earthquake in Türkiye on February 6 last year.
Turkish Cypriot singers Arif Edizer, Muhittin Yang, İpek Amber, Hüseyin Yücelten and Nazım Ced sang the song where the lyrics were composed by Bülent Fevzioğlu and the music was composed by Cemal Özgürsel.
Also in order to draw attention to the Isias Hotel case, a music video was shot at Bayrak Radio Television (BRT) for the song “Requiem for Champion Angels”.
The clip, directed by Muhittin Yangın, who works as a producer-presenter at BRT, was released today. The Kazım Özalp project was recorded at Studio Gazi Set.
