9th International Mediterranean Terracotta Symposium has begun


 

The 9th International Mediterranean Terracotta Symposium has begun.

The works created at the symposium will meet with the public at the Ayrelli Festival-Asparagus Festival to be held in the Akdeniz village on Saturday.

The Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality is hosting the 9th International Mediterranean Terracotta Symposium that is being organized by the Alashia Terracotta Art Community.

At the symposium, which is being curated by Ayhatun Ateşin and managed by Vedia Okutan Gaydeler, artists are working and making their sculptures in the garden of the Mediterranean Open Air Museum.

The works produced at the symposium will meet with the public on Saturday at the Ayrelli Festival -Asparagus Festival that will be realized at the Akdeniz village.

Ceramic artists from Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Türkiye are all taking part in the symposium and the ceramics that they create will be placed in the Mediterranean Open Air Museum.
