Marathon in Gazimağusa: They ran for justice!


 

The “We are running for justice” marathon which was organized in memory of the Champion Angels in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) started yesterday at 7 am with a 42-kilometer run.


The runs were organized into 5 categories: 42 km, 10km, 6km, 3km and 1 km.
The 3-kilometer run, held under the slogan “Champion Angels” was the most meaningful.
The income from the marathon, supported by thousands of people, will be donated for the survival of the Champion Angels Association.

The 3-kilometer run kick-started following speeches by the head of the Champion Angels Association Ruşen Karakaya, Gazimağusa Mayor Süleyman Uluçay and Parliament Speaker Zorlu Töre.
Thousands of supporters gave messages of unity by running for justice in the 3-kilometer public run.
