Two women robbed at gunpoint in Paphos


 

Two women were robbed at gunpoint in their Paphos apartment on Monday evening, according to police reports. Around 9 pm, two men speaking English rang the doorbell of the apartment. When the women opened the door, the men threatened them with a pistol and stole a bag containing €5,250.

The police stated that the men searched the apartment before fleeing with the money. The women reported that the perpetrators fired two shots into the air as they left the scene.

Police are investigating the incident and have recovered two pistol cartridges from the area.
