Overnight road works on the Nicosia-Limassol highway will commence today, Tuesday, June 25, and continue until Thursday, June 27. The Police are advising drivers to exercise caution.
The Department of Public Works announced that the works will take place from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am the following morning, from Tuesday to Thursday. The section of the highway between Skarinos and Zygi will undergo local road surface repairs. During this period, both traffic lanes from Nicosia to Limassol will be partially closed for approximately three kilometers, with traffic redirected to the opposite lanes, which will operate in two-way traffic.
Drivers are urged to drive at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, and adhere to temporary road markings around the construction zone.
