The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation has issued a NOTAM banning drones and air sports between the 17th-19th July due to demonstration flights and rehearsals by the Solo Türk aerobatic team of the Turkish Air Forces, in line with the 20th July 1974 Turkish Peace Operation celebrations.

Flying drones and air sports are banned from 10.45 am on the 17th of July until 9 pm on the 19th of July for security reasons, the ministry said in a statement.

According to the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) it has been stated that paragliding, parasailing and similar air sports and drones will also be banned during the stated period.
