The 4th Ecolive Harvest Festival will take place at the Akdeniz village on Sunday, October 29th.
The harvest event will start at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the Ecolive Olive Gardens in the Akdeniz village and will continue until sunset.
The event is being sponsored by Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell, with contributions from the Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry.
Participants will have the opportunity to pick olives from the trees and also shop from Cypriot food-beverage and handicraft stands, to be set up among the olive trees.
An exhibition of Cyprus will be open at the entrance of the festival.
The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry will set up a stand offering olive sapling gifts to children participating in the harvest, and the European Union will offer special seeds to children for them to plant.
