Fuel irregularities detected on parliament vehicles!

It has been revealed that members of the parliament have been purchasing fuel for parliament vehicles that were broken down and were being repaired.
During a Parliament debate on the budget, discussions focused on the detection of petrol being purchased for two parliament vehicles that weren’t even being used at the time, and were under inspection at a mechanics garage.
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Fazilet Özdenefe, said, “It has been detected that fuel is being bought for vehicles that are not even being used at the moment. How is this possible? Fuel worth thousands of TL has been purchased for cars that are broken. The budget on this issue cannot continue. An investigation must be launched!”
The National Unity Party (UBP) Deputy Hasan Küçük who also spoke on the issue said “It has been said that the vehicle was being repaired, and a document says that the vehicle had been fixed and collected. However, fuel has been purchased every other day for the said vehicle. I feel embarrassed to raise this issue.”
In response to another question, Parliament Secretary General Seral Fırat said that she had not seen the expenditure documents and that she received information late when she had enquired.
Fırat stated that she had written to Hasan Büyükoğlu four times regarding the vehicles and said, “I didn’t receive any information, I also sent a written warning, but again I did not receive any reply. There should not be a perception that I am not fulfilling my duty as Secretary General. I have official letters,” she added.
Head of the administrative financial technical and parliamentary services Hasan Büyükoğlu, for his part rejected criticisms against him and said that he informed the secretary general regarding the issue and that they had been waiting a long time for the parts to be ready for the vehicle belonging to the parliament, and that the vehicle was under repair.
