A bi-communal concert held in Nicosia


 

A bi-communal concert was held for those who lost their lives in the train accident in Greece and the earthquakes in Türkiye.

Among the artists that took part in the concert held at the Elefteria Square in South Nicosia, were Annita Konstandiu, Arda Gündüz, Ahmet Okan, Yorgos Kaloyiru, Katerina Parashu, the “Let’s Sing Together” group, Niyal Öztürk, Umut Albayrak, Seren Coşaner, Dimitris Mesimeris, together with the Bi-Communal Choir for Peace.

Neşe Yasın, Arif Albayrak, Alasios, Mihalis Christofidis, Andreas Parashos, and Tamer Öncül also recited poems at the concert.


Great interest from both communities was shown to the event.


The concert was held under the auspices of the Mayor of Nicosia Municipality Constantinos Yiorkadjis and Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality Mehmet Harmancı.
