Demand growing for secondhand cars in North Cyprus by foreigners


 

Demand for secondhand cars has increased in North Cyprus, especially by foreigners.
It has been reported that secondhand cars are sold the most in İskele (Trikomo) and Girne (Kyrenia) where foreigners prefer to live the most.
According to Diyalog paper, car dealers selling secondhand vehicles said that foreigners are more interested in small cars with an average price of 10 thousand pounds.

11 THOUSAND VEHICLES SOLD IN 7 MONTHS

Meanwhile, 11 thousand 81 vehicles have been sold in the first 7 months of 2023.
According to the Traffic Department statistics, the number of secondhand vehicles sold in the January-July period was 9 thousand 723 and the number of new vehicles was 1358.
The monthly average vehicle sales according to official data is 1500.
